A lovely walk from Buscot church to the lock along part of the local foot path. The starter was roaring through the lock and was a awesome sight, the surrounding area was great for extending your walk and there was an offer of a tea Room somewhere, but not in November. All in all an interesting site.…

This was our second visit to the weir on a lovely late summer day. There is a National Trust car park a short walk away as there is no parking at the weir/lock. There are a few way marked walks in the area & a very interesting notice board that gives an excellent review of the history of the area. Out of interest, Buscot Lock is the smallest on the Thames. The area is peaceful & relaxing & complemented by an excellent tea room in the village.…

Lovely peaceful great for meditation and to take the family take a picnic basket with you and have a stroll by the weir or visit the lovely tea rooms which are close by
