We stopped at the hotpots twice during our time in Holmavik. The first time was a great experience, with only 2 or three other couples also having a swim, and the hotpots were a great temperature. The second time the hotpots were packed with people,...More

The hot pots are great. Located in rocks on the edge of the water nothing should be more soothing than letting the hot water completely relax you whilst reflecting on the magnificent settling. Unfortunately that was not my experience on this occasion. My visit only...More

This is definitely a remote stop, far off the ring road, but worth the trip. My husband and I came into town after a long day of driving and were delighted to find these hot pots. They are located right next to the sea and...More

What a joy to find these 3 hotpots overlooking a stunning fjord...and then to realize, the fjord is filled with pods of whales traveling along the far shore where you can see plumes of water shooting out of their blow holes. Amazing experience!! I met...More

We stayed one night at the Malahorn hotel (see separate review) and wandered over to these fab hot pots. Showers should be used beforehand. Fantastic views over the estuary. Highly recommended.

If you get there after 6pm or before 10am, you might have these hot pots to yourself! Amazing views over the fjord with whales breaching at a distance. There are a number of ducks and birds very close by.
