Its as beautiful as Orchha with a lot less people and crowds. About an hour from Orchha stands the Palace of Bir Singh. It has 7 floors and is a fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture. Do visit when in Datia you won't be disappointed.

The scale of the place is huge. It's still beautiful and not in bad shape but many rooms are closed. There are 420 rooms so you still see a lot. If you are interested in architecture you should not miss it.
