The place was wonderful, but only issue was with the remote location. Also, the way to this place was quite rough. Otherwise, we really enjoyed watching stars and planet.

To show the children that this is the Asia's largest telescope is one thing and another is showing them the stars and planets through a minor telescope at public visiting hrs on 18:00-20:00 hrs is good. Only thing is the effort to reach the place....More

Public are allowed to only 16cm telescope, which is usually installed in almost all small observatory. The 1meter telescope is only for research purposes and not meant for public viewing. So decide before travelling to such a long distance in the hill road.
