This Cave and the wife’s cave are beyond description; it is something that must be felt for oneself. The wife’s cave is of great simplicity and awesome Stillness. The main ca e has more space and is most common to visit.

Shri Ramanar and Tiruvannamali are inseparable as Arunachaleswarar and Jyothirlingam..the cave is maintained now by Ramana trust as well as the small house with a cow she'd, where Shri Ramanar's mother joined him later..the vibration at both places (a strenuous climb though for seniors) is...More

Hi, I believe they close the place at around 4:00 pm. You can go there early in the morning and stay there till 4:00 pm, but i doubt they'd allow you to stay inside the cave beyond 4:00 pm.
