Face to face encounter with wildlife,Bor Dam, along with must visit Buddha Stupa,it's on Wardha-Nagpur highway,MTDC and private Resort are available, FDCM Resort with good huts are also available.

Went there on 9th may and entered from adegaon gate and was able to spot a lot of birds ,wild boar,spotted deer,neelgai and atlast the king of the jungle the tiger

I visited this sanctuary with my friends.We found it very nicely maintained jungle. We could observe the Black bear, wild pigs, and wild dogs apart from usual wild members such as Chital, Sambhar, and Blue Bulls. We were lucky to observe elusive Nightjar and Malkoha....More

Overall good experience. But the food is not so good there. So we came back to wardha and have our dinner at Indian barbecue again.

First time visit to Bor. The landscape and terrain very different from other Sanctuaries. It's a little hilly. We got to see so many peacocks,nilgais , sambar, parrots and spotted dears.Also got to see a pack of wild boars and couple of Eagles. No carnivores...More

Nice pace to travel in the vicinity of Wardha. Calm and cool place. One could have jungle safari here. also picnic spot around the BOR Dam. FOr accomodation one could have MTDC resort or FDCM rooms. Also private hotels are here.

Enjoyed alot...spotted tiger with three cub..lots of deer beautiful peacock n monkey..but plz book your safari in advance as they hav only 8 safari jeep they allow 24 vehicle at a time..mtdc resort is okay kindaa place the location is excellent food is average local...More
