Clear! Very good Fort along with Vishnu temple aside. Though it cannot be included intentionally, it should be in the list if you drive across Pudukottai! And ofcourse, you need to plan this in early mornings or late afternoons as you will be scorched because...More

A little fort with no proper arrangements for climbing. Elderly and people with disability please skip the place as climbing is no easy. Nothing to see as only the view of nearby places if you climb 2 tier with difficulty. Not worthy in spending time...More

Entry Fee Rs 15, foreigners Rs 150. Camera no charge, parking free. We went there while going to Karaikudi. It’s small fort on the road. If time permits, visit there.

Witness a wonderful moment in South Indian history! It's a little hike up but the atop the hill is magnificent!

A nice serene place close to Karaikudi - 30mts from it. The climb to the fort is not arduous still a bit of adventure! Kids love the experience, especially the expanse on top offers great views! There is big Siva lingam, but you need to...More

Tirumayam is enroute to Pudukottai from Karaikudi. It is famous for its fort enclosing a huge mountain and topped with a canon. History has it that Veerapandian Kattabomman'S brother Oomairhurai was hiding here escaping from British. The fort encloseS a Pallikonda Perumal temple, a Lord...More
