The temple is famous for performing aksharabhyasam.They perform the pooja in front of the goddess.There will great rush.People visit to get their children blessed by goddess Saraswathi Devi.Godavari river is near the temple.

One of the oldest temple in telegana state ..famous for aksharadasoha , people come here to make their kids to start Akshara abhiyasam ..well maintained and clean temple

Quaint Serene Not much of crowd. Is more commercialized now as compared to my previous visit about 4-5 years back. No need for any vip darshan(Rs100/-) or special Pooja (1000/-) However to each, his own

Godess Saraswati is known to be the godess of education. People take items related to education to keep them at her feet as a practice of getting her blessings.

not sure if there are any under the devasthanam, but the Basar Haritha Hotel under the Telangana State Tourism have double rooms, perhaps you can check with them. However the room quality is only average
