This is one of the best lakes i had ever seen vast and and beautiful . this is one of the lakes that you come across during the tarsar marsar trek in kashmir, the whole trek provides breathtaking views.

The way to this beautiful lake is from the Aru valley. It is part of the twin lake treks of Tarsar and Marsar..This place has so many natural flowers that you have to be careful to not step over them

This place is really peaceful as you always get relaxation on its banks. The best time is day time to visit here.

We went to Tarsar lake in the middle of September. From Pahalgam to Aru by shared taxi. And in Aru started our 4days trek. Its not necessary to take guide or horse with you. We kept evthg in our backpack...drank watter from springs. The view...More

Had been on a 6 day trek to Tarsar Marsar withTrek the Himalayas,. This was an ideal trek  for beginners like me. If weather supports you, then the scenery all along the way is spectacular. Tarsar lake will take your breath away. It is awesome....More
