While travelling from Gwahati to Shillong THE view point offers a unique view of the lake Surrounded by green hills all around, on a clear day; the submerged old Guwahati Shillong road can be seen.

Huge lake with serene landscape. There is speedboating and JetSki and even a house boat. However tbere is limited options for snack and tea/coffee. Hope to see this place not be contaminated with excessive use of diesel and kerosene motors

During our journey from Guwahati to shillong, we have stopped at the lake.. Spent around half an hour for sight seeing... Beautiful lake... It was raining, hence we couldn't enjoy much...

Beautiful, Serene and Clean. We stayed at a hotel on this lake and from our window we had the Lake view. Most impressive thing of our stay. Amazing.

Umiyam lake on the way to Shillong is worth visiting. Atmosphere was great. Couples can enjoy a lot. Family too can enjoy.
