Suraj mandir is noted for its Architectural marvel which is employed through the Sculptures and Figurines of animals like lion and elephants.This temple dates back to the time of the original Somnath temple which was raided and looted by Mohammed Ghazni.

A Sun temple (SURYA TEMPLE) situated near Triveni Sangam, dedicated to Lord SURYA. Temple have amazing architecture included lion, birds, elephants etc . A must see place for tourist, 4.5 kms from Somnath Temple.

This is a small temple dedicated to Sun god. This is close to the Triveni Sangam. We were told that this is about 500 years old. Go if religious, else can be skipped.
