Visited Magic Ice whilst on a stopover on a Hurtigruten cruise. It is just a short walk from where the ship docks, so is great if time is short. 175 No K (£17.50) to enter. Great ice sculptures and a complementary glass of wine on...More

We couldn’t say enough great things about the Magic Ice Bar. From intricate sculpting to friendly and awesome staff. Connie helped us from beginning to end and was fabulous! We would recommend to anyone near the Tromso area!

We were a group of 15 people standing outside and waiting when it opened. However, no staff came and the place was closed. We called the phone number twice, then called up an hour afterwards. But very bad communication when we had also sent mail...More

This is the Ice Bar of all Ice Bars! What would possess one to have a cocktail in a freezer. I was lured by lights and sculpted ice art. The S-shaped ice bar itself is a frozen beauty. My expectations weren’t high for the included...More

We arrived in Svolvaer on the MS Nordlys late one evening. This very interesting nearby dockside museum was one of two attractions that remained open until our ship left in about an hour. We easily walked to the Magic Ice, entered and paid the reasonable...More

Amazing and unusual ice sculputres. It is extremely cold inside and they provide you with a warm parka to walk through the area. Admission includes a drink in an ice glass and it is possible to purchase additional alcoholic beverages. Worth a visit but too...More
