Went here to buy supplies only to find it completely closed with notices saying it was shut for refurbishment but no other information whatsover, no information saying when it would reopen and no information about whether the market had been relocated elsewhere during this period...More

Fabulous market full of local people buying food, few tourists. Amazing fish market in the centre, surrounded by fruit/veg stalls and meat etc. Lovely old building with original market stalls.
