Stopped of here for lunch on a road trip through northern France. This is a lovely sandy beach with plenty of space. (Not much shade) and it is very clean. Facilities are close by and there is an area sectioned off just for sun loungers....More

Its a mixture of dunes, concrete vintage facilities and as far as the eye can see flat sands. Theres usually a nice breeze in summer as its in a sheltered leeway and river mouth. Traffic jams can be long here summer weekends. Aqualud is an open...More

The beach is massive. Although the tide goes out quite far be aware that it travels in quite quickly too with the beach being flat. Great for swimming and sun bathing. We had a fab time. Toilets near by - make sure you have 50c...More

Quite simply Le Touquet beach is vast and sandy. Its a great long walk and is really quiet towards the more dune like end. Beautiful.

The cleanest beach I've seen on the French North coast, at low tide it is about 1km (!) wide. Excellent for an early morning or late evening walk.

Fantastic beach , it runs for miles and is kept immaculately clean and is patrolled by life guards as far down as Stella Plage ,which is also a lovely resort and much cheaper than le Touquet

Catch it at high tide, if low tide you are going to walk miles to get to the water. First thing in the morning it’s deserted and we were lucky as it was high tide. Very clean and very well maintained. We will definitely be...More

Great wide sandy beach with lots of things for families to do. A great way to get some sea air and blow out the cobwebs

The beach at Le Touquet-Paris-Plage is enormous; at low tide it was 0.5km from our patch of beach to the sea line. The beach is fine white sand, no rubbish. It’s so big that on a Saturday in June it didn’t feel at all crowded;...More

To be honest whilst there may be some restrictions ,we saw a few people with dogs. There are miles and miles and miles of beautiful sandy beach so even if you need to walk a little bit there will be somewhere

I cannot confirm if dogs are actually allowed on the beach but can confirm I have seen dogs both on the beach (sand part) and in the water. Yes, there is a promenade that "stretches for a way," a long way that is.There is... More
