We booked the spa a couple of weeks before travelling to the Hilton in Malta to ensure we could get a massage and arranged a couples massage for the day after we arrived. We enjoyed them so much we then booked for the same masseurs for the same time the next week. Nice environment with professional and friendly staff. Both our masseurs were excellent... the 85 minutes seemed to fly by.

I had a hammam experience with a great massage therapist and a massage afterwards. We were asked whether one of us (I went with my mum) did not mind having a male therapist and I said I did not mind at all, the experience was very pleasant, I felt comfortable and safe. I asked the therapist for his name, I think his name was Robinson or Anderson, I am so sorry, I forgot. Apologies if I got your name wrong. :( I asked for his name and got a business card but I must have misplaced the card since the massage so I cannot confirm his name 100% but just so you know, you can treat yourself to a nice experience at this location and you will have a blast. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff very nice. enjoy your massage!! also: we were given a card to use the pool the day after cause we did not have time on the same day. Good customer service.

Me and My husband went for the couple spa package and it was amazing after being on a road for a week with a baby (we just came back from our roadtrip holiday).
I’ve told Miyu (my masseuse) that I have a 2 months old baby and I am exclusively breastfeeding. She definitely get rid of the knots I have in my back and make sure the massage oil that shes using is safe for my baby.
We will definitely be back! 😊

Myself and my girlfriend booked the "time for two" treatment.
The facilities were great, both masseuses were really professional and very knowledgeable.
Stefan really went thr extra mile and gave lots of advice and followed it up with an email with even more health/treatment advice for the future.
Both myself and girlfriend left feeling very relaxed and happy with our experience. Thank you !

I received a birthday voucher for a scrub and massage treatment, which I booked for today.
It was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend the Panpuri Lemongrass Soothing Treatment to anyone who would love some pampering. A fabulous treatment by a lovely therapist - Yaroslava. Beautiful therapy rooms and really lovely staff. I spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing at the beach club. Will definitely book again - thank you!

We were visiting the Hilton for a short break with our young baby, and I was very keen to book in for a spa treatment to help with postnatal backache and generally tired muscles.
I switched from the postnatal treatment I had originally booked to a special offer of a full body massage and face mask, and am very glad I did! The therapist, Tamara, was by far the most skilled and effective spa therapist I’ve ever had. The massage was incredible, it made every other spa treatment I’ve ever had seem like it was done by someone on a work experience placement! She pinpointed exactly where my back needed work, and was able to release muscles that had been in pain since pregnancy. The face mask element was done with such skill it felt like a full facial.
I couldn’t recommend the spa (or Tamara as a therapist) highly enough.

I had a chemical peel at this spa, which has left me feeling rather disappointed. Upon greeting my therapist, a very warm lady, I followed her through to the consultation; she asked me the standard questions about my routine and condition of my skin. I told the lady the history of my skincare - which has been extensive, due to problem skin - and she commented with, ' so now you've given up' - something which I feel was grossly unnecessary and insensitive. I continued to explain, to be told she knew what would solve it: the 3 step routine from her cupboard. Like buying a clone of this product hadn't occurred to me some 10 years prior - and something I'd explained in my initial chat.
The session began; the initial stages were very relaxing and enjoyable with the warm towels and swirling hand movements. The therapist asked if I would like my eyebrows tidying up, to which I said 'okay'. She said that she would take the strays off, which I felt was very nice, then suddenly I felt scissors cutting off the top of my brows - something which I did not feel was part of 'tidying up' and too late to decline once started. This was a bit misleading but eyebrows will grow back.
By this stage, the layer of glycolic peel was being applied to my face - it was not a burning feeling, just a tingling sensation - but something that seemed strange is that my eyes were not protected with anything, which seemed very alarming. What happens if the acid drips? Leading to another technique: the acid was applied with a brush and not a gauze... my research suggests (though I am not a dermatologist) that brushes should not be used as they can encourage dripping of the product - something that is obviously dangerous when dealing with chemicals on the face.
At the end of the treatment, I asked what strength the peel was (as I'd not been informed) and other such questions about the likelihood of peeling and so on. This was answered with, 'it's dependent on the skin' - which begs the following question: how can results of the 3 step products that were shown to me at the beginning be so certain for me, yet the results of the treatment that I am paying 85 euros for not be? It's very perplexing.
So all in all, I would certainly not visit the Myoka Spa again, and I would certainly not advice anybody to visit there for a Chemical Peel. This was supposed to be an exciting treatment, but I have been left feeling deflated and, quite frankly, ripped off.

As a Hilton HHonors Diamond member I often frequent Hilton Spa facilities around the world and I must say this Myoka Spa, operated in its own right, was the finest of them all.
I stayed at the Hilton Malta last week (reviewed seperately, can confirm it's worthy of the 5* accolade simply incredible experience!) and was pleasantly surprised to discover during Check-in at the Executive Lounge that a full service Spa was present on site.
It's actually located down several stories from Reception so take the lifts from the Lobby. When you step out, you'll be greeted on this level with a Tony & Guy Hairdresser and the Leisure Reception. Just walk straight past them both to the back and you can't miss the simply beautiful entrance to the 5 Senses Spa.
All the Staff greeted me with a genuine smile and were quick to highlight Offers... this immediatly impressed me as more often than not Spa staff encourage you to pay the MOST. Not here... I was also handed a 20eur money off voucher whilst I was browsing! Talk about honest encouragement to get a good deal...
Staff were happy to discuss what type of massage would suit my achey 'well travelled' muscles the best. I ended up choosing the Deep Tissue Massage with a Masseuse named Piera. She was absolutely charming and smiley, a native Maltese lady I think. She guided me straight through the stylish dark coloured hallways with peaceful minimal lighting straight to a spacious and immaculately prepared treatment room. By this point I was blown away...even BEFORE the massage started. Ladies and Gentlemen this is what you call a true 5* Spa!
Piera sat me down and asked me to fill in a Health disclaimer and to carefully discuss any concerns in addition to areas of the massage to focus on...she was keen to tailor it to my exact requirements. Shortly after signing I laid face down on the wonderfully deep and comfortable massage table and it began!
During the massage, which of course was sublime one of the best I've ever had, I realised the massage table wasn't just a table at all but actually incredibly high tech. At the press of a button it lifted my legs, mid section and head...clever stuff! And Piera used it to perfection always keeping the feet above the heart. It added the icing on the cake to the already amazing experience.
Afterwards I was left in peace to change and guided back to the Reception to pay in my own time... never rushed at any point. I was so impressed I booked the signature '5 Senses Massage' for the following evening!
Thank you very much indeed Piera for two wonderful massages and to the team for making me feel so welcome. Hilton HHonors Diamond members listen up if you want a world class massage during your stay look no further!

My visit started off a little disappointing in the fact I booked a pregnancy massage with the knowledge that they use the appropriate bed for my bump so I can lie on my front as this is what a member of staff had confirmed when I asked twice about it.
When I got into the treatment room they informed me that this wasn’t the case and they don’t have the said bed anymore and so the massage would have to be done lay in my side.
I decided that I would leave it as was a lot of money for something I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy.
On leaving the manager was so apologetic and offered a complimentary 25min back and neck massage in which I accepted. This was such great customer service and I was so grateful. Tina was my therapist. She was so lovely. From the moment I met her (before realising there was no bed) she was friendly and interested in me as a person. You can really tell she loves her job. The massage she gave was great and she remained so professional throughout and made it so enjoyable even when she knew it was complimentary. I almost wanted to cry at the end with this kind service from both Tina and manager. I’d gone from being disappointed and thinking I’d be leaving without a massage to leaving happy and relaxed.
I do think they should definitely invest in a proper bed though in the future.
