The marina is a nice place to have a walk, see some impressive boats and perhaps have a drink or a meal at one of the bars or restaurants.

My experience with portomaso is cool. Is a nice location, with different classy people. Lovely area, full of yachts

As a building it is fresh, clean, tall and can be seen a long way off, good shopping area in it`s surrounds with cafe`s and pubs to enjoy local fayre and beers.

Visited here a few times during a recent vacation. Good variety of restaurants and places to stop for a drink.

If one wants to avoid the steps going down to the marina it is best to take the public lift outside the Hilton Hotel. The walk round the marina is relatively short but pleasant as is the view from most of the restaurants with terraces.

Very quiet and nice place for a walk. You can also eat here and see a lot of nice boats. Luxury area.

Perfect for a relaxing stroll with a luxury yachts view. The place is very peaceful and you can observe fish in the sea.

Worth a visit for and hour or two if only to look at the boats and have a meal or just a drink in one of the restaurants.

It's a matter of personal preference. Portomaso is closer to the buzz of St Julian's and Paceville (nightlife, restaurants and what watersports there are). Sliema is more of a business centre as well as residential. It has... More

It is located at he mouth of the marina, just below the swimming pools of the Hilton. It is expensive and I think that you can taylor your journeys at a price. I don't think that you can land at Valletta. A day bus ticket... More
