- Alma HGhajnsielem, Malta32 contributionsTreat yourself because you deserve itHad birthday treat for myself in relaxing atmosphere. Treatments that I did were massage and facial and they were amazing. Right what I needed to feel like queen. Highly recommended special thanks to beautiful Mambo Kadek who did my treatments and made my day even more special.Visited March 2024Traveled soloWritten March 26, 2024
- Nashaat B3 contributionsMassage at Carisma Spa and Wellness at H HotelThe massage at Carisma Spa & Wellness with Claudia and Patricia was absolutely incredible! They were both very attentive and welcoming and we left feeling extremely relaxed and rejuvenated. We were offered delicious complimentary Apple tea following the massage. I would strongly recommend if you’re staying at H Hotel!Visited April 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 26, 2024
- Elle56 contributionsDisappointed! We booked for a day spa and the massage was good. But when we used the facilities we were very disappointed! Indoor pool was not cleaned, sauna smells awful, salt room was not even opened and shower area was clogged! The good thing was only the turkish hammam. We didn’t get what we paid for and didn’t enjoyed our time there.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 15, 2024
- Departure023098351521 contributionBest massage everThis is by far the best Turkish hammam package treatment we have ever had anywhere over the world. Partricia and viki gave us our treatment and they were amazing everything was perfect. So good that we went back for a second treatment we opted for another couples package with my partner receiving a Japanese style massage to which the lady who gave the treatment name we don't know but again another amazing treatment Thank you so much to all the staff so welcoming and helpful Kind regards SamiVisited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 30, 2024

I had an afternoon to myself and booked in for a small package, on arrival I asked if I could upgrade my package, luckily I was able to. And what a fantastic experience I had! Christina was my therapist and she had read my information form meticulously. Greeted me and held her arm out to aid my walking, I had had major hip surgery a few months before. She was so considerate and worked away at my body in such a way that I can only describe as delicious, magical. I plumped for the Balinese massage, facial and foot massage. I truly felt like Christina had taken ten years off me and I was able to walk out with my back straight, head held high and a spring in my step! Thank you so, so much. Excellent experience.

I don't usually write a review on the places I visited but this SPA deserved it.
If you want to be pampered and experience a fantastic massage then I recommend that this is the place to go.
What I most appreciated was the effort of the multitalented Erika and Vyara for the top-notch friendly and very professional service.
If you want to be pampered and experience a fantastic massage, the therapist at Carisma SPA is a Wonderwoman.

Spent a delightful three hours here last Saturday. I booked the Hammam Ritual and the Carisma Signature massage. Siti was my therapist throughout and she was excellent. The massage was exactly the right pressure and she certainly worked out a few knots. Proper pampering and highly recommended.

Overall I did not enjoy my experience. Myself and my mum had booked the 'King &Queen ' package as a treat whilst we were away..
Pool was filthy and cloudy. Scum line around the indoor pool that had not been cleaned for some time. Bathrooms/ changing area was not much better and smelly.
The Turkish bath was good however felt the professionalism of the staff whilst having the treatment was upsetting. When they weren't doing anything in between scrubs I opened my eyes and kept seeing the 2 staff giggling between themselves making me feel anxious and starting to not enjoy.
The chequered towel that was wrapped around me when it had finished smelt of smelly armpits, so clearly had not been washed properly and just re-used.
Went through to our massage, no instruction of what to do.. we just assumed to take all of except for our bottoms and lay face down and wait. The room was cosy, I had the bed next to the staffs sink/station so throughout the massage felt every bang on the bed and had both staff squeezing between my bed and the stain making squeaking noises and the noise of the pump on the oil bottles.. not relaxing at all!
Also, was disappointed when I asked where I could get a drink i was told to go upstairs to the outdoor pool area, (it was a very windy/stormy day). So I went trekking in my dressing gown in unfamiliar place to get a cold drink as they only had a water machine at the spa (which was warm) . Bright my 2 drinks down to the spa to then be told I had to sit in the reception area to drink them even though they were in plastic cups.. there were no signs to say no other drinks inside the pool area, I was looking forward to sitting on the lounger with a drink. Felt very unprofessional that nobody could arrange for the drinks to be brought to us. Also the price for a cup of ice with bottled poured coke zero was sickening €6! Each!!!
Overall I felt very deflated with the experience, and nobody asked how our treatments were/experience. After paying approx €140 each it was not worth €40

Went there to book two couples massages for my parents and my girlfriend’s parents as Christmas gifts, because we assumed that they have one of, if not the best massages on the island. Specified what I wanted but the woman who was showing us the deals was showing us singles massages without saying that was single massage. As we did not know, we bought the bundles for my parents and her parents thinking we bought 2 couples massages, instead they sold us 2 single massages without our knowledge. At the end we ended up giving the Christmas presents, even went all the way as to book the massage for one of the couples, as they have a limited stay in malta, only for them to get refused, as the woman who sold us the massages sold us the wrong deals, making the couple who were supposed to get a massage disappointed and having to go another day, and leaving us to pay an extra fee for each couple, which is NOT cheap and NOT okay. You guys should really think about hiring people who actually understand english, with the language being my second I still have good understanding and speaking, unlike this woman. Please upgrade your service staff, it will help a lot with people like me, who do not know much about massages.

I went to Intercontinental to join the spa and some body treatments with my boyfriend. We paid 180euro in total. Nothing to say to the therapists, they were excellent and the massage was great. The problems started when we joined the facility of the spa.
What should I say? Where to start?
The sauna was dirty, with empty paper glasses everywhere.
The swimming pool was a caos, people were speaking loud, children were playing and diving, some people were arguing out loud, some others were listening to loud music with their phone. I put up with this for an hour and a half, when at some point a child threw water at me with a glass. I got angry and I called the supervisor. She came and asked me to point out people that were not following the spa rules. It was quite difficult to point out since nobody was respecting the rules. I decided to leave the spa and asking for the money back. They proposed me a couple coupon for a value of 105 euro to use in Hugo’s hotel with a 25 minutes massage and access to swimming pool. I refused because they ruined my day and I didn’t think was fair. So they gave me back 50 euro. What should I say? If I decided to go to intercontinental is because is a 5starts hotel, a luxury hotel, I didn’t know that there was a public swimming pool!! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID.
They should revise their way of acting and they should agire qualified staff, because they were not able to handle the situation.
Never more!

The first notable drawback was the exorbitant prices. While I understand that quality comes at a cost, the services offered did not justify the steep price tags. The spa's pricing seemed disconnected from the value delivered, leaving me feeling dissatisfied with the overall investment.
Additionally, the quality of the services provided was below par. From the ambiance to the actual treatments, there was a noticeable lack of attention to detail and a sense of mediocrity. The facilities, which should exude tranquility and luxury, left much to be desired.

We booked a lunch package, 30’ massage, a glass of prosecco and 3 hours of Wellness.
Honestly the massage and lunch raise the bill because the spa infrastructure is really not great.
The pool was cold so there was really no way to relax there, the ramp to access it moved a lot.
The sauna is old and dirty. Wooden slats are broken.
The hammam smelled of mold, we didn't go there.
The locker rooms also smell of damp and mold.
We were offered water or tea instead of prosecco.
We ate at the pizzeria it was very good.

Booked a Spa for our friends and I have never been so disappointed. The 25 min treatment we had was fine but the Spa facilities were awful.
Possibly the smallest changing room I have ever been in and not seperate to the toilet cubicals X2.
The pool was cold. The steam room was filthy and smelt as did the Sauna.
It looked like the pool was open to the public as well.
For a lovely 5* hotel this is not acceptable. I wouldnt recommend this Spa at all which is a shame as the hotel looked lovely albeit in St Georges bay near Pacheville.

Went for the stress couples massage and it was amazing. My masseuse was Sara and it was without doubt the most thorough and relaxing massage ever. Very highly recommended. The only downside was that they do not provide you with a towel to shower afterwards (to be fair we didn’t ask) and the dressing gowns had definitely seen better days. But all that pales to insignificance once Sara worked her magic. Already booked the next session!!
