This small place is packed full with big memories. Old timers who used to fly with SAS should make a time to visit them. A lot of familiar items including the old uniforms will make you smile. There is also a staircase at the back door that leads to the top of the building where you can get a good view of Oslo airport runway.

I contacted the SAS Museum when my daughter suddenly developed a lot of flight fear. Frank and his colleagues welcomed us very well and spent a lot of time with her to explain flight safety. She also had to try herself in the flight simulator. This made a huge difference for her and the fear of flying is almost gone. The family came to Mallorca, which was completely excluded before the visit. A big thank you to all who work here, you really make a difference and I can't boast enough of you!

This small museum is actually very authentic. It is run by present and former SAS employees and the collection is impressive. There are artifacts from pre-SAS to the present day. While there ar no full scale aircraft on display, there are tons of travel agents models, a working simulator and lots of other historic artifacts to keep you busy for a few hours. Unfortunately it is not open every day. Absolutely worth a visit. Great little gift store, and a cafeteria too

Stayed at a hotel nearby, and went for a stroll. Walked by the SAS museum, and decided to have a look.

This museum, from 2003/2004 and run by the DNL/SAS Historic Society, documents the history of Scandinavian civil aviation. SAS has entered a partnership with its three national historic societies, whom undertake the day-to-day work on a volunteer basis. Excellent staff.

The museum at Gardermoen is a completely new and considerably expanded Scandinavian (SAS) museum. It is run by a board that includes representatives of the SAS consortium and the historic societies.

If you’re interested in aviation history, it’s worth a visit.

The museum is well worth a visit if you have the time, it's just outside the airport and is surprisingly interesting, giving you a good history of the aircraft and the company.

The staff was awesome. All retired volunteers from SAS. Some of the displayed items were mind boggling. I had never seen a multiple person arctic survival bag designed in the event of a forced landing on the polar cap. (none were ever needed)
