by far the best sight in macedonia and definitely a must see! they offer guided tours in english as well and it's included in the entrance fee of 120den. the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

The ancient city of Stobi/Paeonia/ was important urban,military and religious center of the Roman and Byzantine empires.The site contains 26 exposed buildings-theater,basilicas,palaces,houses,baths and famous mosaics/beautiful peacock mosaics/...it is located on the main road E75 hwy.In the summer bring water and hats,no shade.
