We spent a couple days fishing the lake. We used the Fishermans Landing boat ramp which is easy to access; quiet and with heaps of parking. The lake has so many areas to visit and fish, so you can always find somewhere isolated. There's also...More

This spot is great for fishing, camping, boating and kayaking. Plenty of room, easy access for boats and kayaks via mill point boat ramp. Lots to explore in the lake and great spot to fish for flathead and break, either by land or kayak/boat

On one side you have the Lake Tyers and on the other side, you have the Ocean. You can switch from on to the other and have the advantages of both. We really like the shallow water of Lake Tyers.

Beach is safe to swim in, is not patrolled. Any beach has rips. A bit further back towards lakes entrance in eastern beach which is a patrolled beach. Lake is safe to swim in stays at a nice water temperature aswell.
