I think the best - and cheapest - way to get to Mallika is with the local (red) bus #8203 from the Kanchanaburi bus station. Trip takes about 40 minutes, and if I remember right the price is about 30-40 Baht. You are buying bus tickets after entering the bus. Bus stops right in front of the Mallika front entrance, just ask the ticket person to set you off at Mallika.
