The small town of Huasca de Ocampo was the first to be awarded the title Pueblo Magico. The centre has a many attractive old buildings around a central square and nice shops selling local produce.

Found in "El Corredor de la Montaña" this town of easy access is a must see if you are around with several small towns you can visit in the surrounding area.

I was last here in 1971, so things have sure changed a lot!! My little town has become a Pueblo Magico!! I had to wait until my very last day to see what the town was like without a festival or market going on.
