I know it’s winter but the whole garden was looking tired and unloved. From the collapsing trellis to the overgrown and uneven paths and the lotus ponds looking dead and ugly in their winter coat, this garden was a disappointment today.

I thought the sculptures and the lotus flowers were the highlights. The cafe sits in a wonderful situation and we found the service very good. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

Easy parking, nice stroll around gardens, water features and the kids even had a splash to cool down, fed the ducks, enjoyed a refreshment at the cafe.
