We spent a few hours walking around the gardens enjoying the different areas. It is very relaxing and pleasant. Nice place to take children for a walk.

The gardens - parklands are very beautiful with the lake, waterfalls and wildlife all in a green setting. We went there for the annual Christmas Fair so there were vintage cars, plenty of craft stalls, plants, food stalls and several live young female singing artists...More

I know it’s winter but the whole garden was looking tired and unloved. From the collapsing trellis to the overgrown and uneven paths and the lotus ponds looking dead and ugly in their winter coat, this garden was a disappointment today.

I thought the sculptures and the lotus flowers were the highlights. The cafe sits in a wonderful situation and we found the service very good. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

I doubt you could do it justice under the hour depending on how long you take to line up and how many photos.
