Our primary focus is 'catch and realease', however we do offer a 'bag & eat' service for those who would like to take a barra home! We also offer fishing charters by boat. We cater for private parties, corporate events, weddings, etc. Bookings by appointment only.

What a great way to experience catching the incredible species thst is the Baramundi.
The young lady that helped us went above and beyond to help us land a fish. She is a true credit to the company.

Had an awesome day out on the water today with Dorian from Barramundi Adventures. Totally professional setup. Unfortunately for us the fish weren’t biting but still a great day out. Would totally recommend this trip.

Today I had the enjoyment of looking after my niece & nephew for the day. They asked to go to BAD, so off we went. And what a fantastic afternoon we all had. School holidays so lots of children around, the kids fished all afternoon in different ponds with bait & lures, they made great friends, laughed, everyone encouraged one another, kids enjoyed a cold softdrink and ice cream (shh, don't tell parents) in a wicked undercover bar area (also serving booze for adults). And staff were amazing, Crystal who works there, had her young son giving advice to fellow child anglers, setting thier lure & netting barra, such a champion! My nephew left with a new BFF. We will be back for sure, kids couldn't stop talking about thier action packed afternoon all drive home.

Visited Crystal and the team at Barramundi Adventures in Darwin and had an absolute blast .
Caught my first Bara on Poppers and then a couple of 75cm girls on bait
Wife caught her first as well and of course both were bigger than mine at 77cm
Thank you all so much and would recommend this to everyone
Great place for family to learn in a great environment with terrific people to teach you

As lovely as the deck setup is and and as much as I appreciate that the act of fishing here is the same as normal, and your never guaranteed to catch something, I wouldn’t bother spending your money.
No bites for anyone out in the sun in the back ponds. And once moved back to the decking only the staff had one bite after throwing out 2 buckets of pellets. We were pretty much left to our devices to fish, especially the kids. No assistance rendered with casting or baiting for those who might of needed it.
Think $90 per person and $10 per spectator is exorbitant

Group of 6 (3 fishing and 3 observing) paid for the experience of fishing in the ponds. Other families were there with young children attempting to fish. Seems that the water was too cold for the fish hence no bites for 2 hours in any locations.The fish like the pellets being thrown in the water but not the bait being supplied. After 2 hours attempting to fish with all the excuses under the sun about why the fish weren't biting our time was up. No apologies offered.
The looks of disappointment on the faces of the young boys was clear. Frustration and anger with management known poor conditions being ignored. They gladly accepted our money even though they would have known in advance that it was highly unlikely that we would catch anything. Its just a "take" and before anyone books, ask some basic questions about water temperature and likelihood of catching something. Finally, to ask a very young lady to run the session, the management would have known that patrons would not voice their disappointment to her. So $275 later, no bites, no apologies and no talk of any sort of refund (partial of full).

A great way to experience catching a fish. We were given excellent tutelage and all 4 of us were able to catch at least one fish. One of us even caught the resident mud crab. We witnessed the feeding of the big barramundi female - watch your fingers. We were then able to relax with a cold drink and a complimentary stubby cooler. Great two hours. Now to do it in the wild.

Visited with 3 young children under 5. The set up is clean and tidy. Bar, snacks and clean toilets available. Shady, grassed area to sit on while watching. Staff very friendly & helpful. Everyone gets a chance to catch a fish - would recommend!

If you have kids, and don't want to spend the time or money to go off shore Barramundi fishing this is perfect. Easy 45 minute drive from Darwin, 2 hours of fun. Kids are guaranteed to catch fish. No action on the lures, but lots caught on squid and prawn. One of my children struggled, and yes they brought out the pellets to ensure she had a good time. Not for the serious fisherman, but good family fun.

Some form of fencing to ensure that the little ones are not in danger. Wider range of what the bar offers, enough rods for all the people you have and barra that actually want to bite a lure
