Similar to many other places, guided tour is only in German, and the most interesting room you can access only with the guide. Our friend did a bit of translation for us, but it was overall not an easy to follow tour and generally a...More

My wife and I visited (by city bike from Uberlingen) this special, powerful and clean castle and church (with lots of other buildings and facilities, also a beautiful garden) and stayed, impressed as we were, for more than two hours. We were guided (only 2...More

Although the buildings are very impressive and the grounds are beautiful, we left with a poor impression of the place for a couple of reasons. The first unpleasantness was that the queue to get tickets is in the path of the guided tours. We were...More

We stayed here for 2 nights. From outside it looks amazing and gardens are kept lovely But inside it is like a council building, no warmth in its atmosphere at all.

We spent about two hours wandering around the gardens, church and fire museum. We did not pay extra to go into the main house. There is a nice playground next to the fire museum.
