Ramot Naftaly Winery is a kosher boutique winery located in Moshav Ramot Naftaly of the Upper Galilee. The Winery's vineyards are spread throughout Kadesh Valley, a beautiful rift immersed between tall mountains; this unique area is where quality wine grapes have grown since ancient times. Yitzhak Cohen, The Winemaker and Founder, has dreamed of founding a small, high-graded winery and has started producing wines since 2003. The winery produces a variety of red wines such as: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz as well as special grape types such as: Malbec, Petit Verdo and Barbera. Guided tour is offered in the winery visitor center where you can experience the diverse preparation stages of the wine. For groups and families please book your visit in advance.

Israel has become a very wine-friendly country for oenophiles, but the popularity of wine tourism inevitably brings unwelcome changes. As in Napa Valley, many Israeli wineries charge for tasting and the wine is sometimes poured by someone who seems to know less about it than...More
