Plan was to do a quick stop on a hot day. Also bought some smoked Gouda and noticed they sold ice cream. Likely 16 flavours and big servings . Did not eat there but menu appeared hearty and home cooked .

Not a ton to see here but there is a huge variety of cheese styles and flavours. You can even purchase some little baked items and have an ice cream.

They sell many types of cheeses & kitchen gadgets. Also demonstrations of how cheese is made. You can have a great homemade lunch & finish with an ice cream treat. They have seating inside & out. Easy access from hwy 97.

Can't tell you how many times I've drove through Armstrong, and thought about visiting this place. I did visit during the off-season, but the cheese didn't seem to mind. Staff was friendly, there were samples available, and the Canadian maple cheese is absolutely unbelievable. I...More

Best to call the store directly and check. I do not know if they have low salt cheddar. With the large variety they have----I'm sure they can satisfy your need. Good Luck.
