This is a really worthwhile venture but the produce on offer was very pricey - 50p per apple is a bit OTT.

Came here to buy some vegetables but no one about. Honesty box available and a price list. Gardens are interesting and some good produce growing but it could do with a lot more volunteers to utilise more of the fantastic space and enclosed micro climate. A little gem with lots of potential.

The Community Garden is quite a hidden treat behind the Islay House which has been turned into a collection of artisan shops which include quilters and jam makers. The Community Garden is a delightful place to wander through, pick up a few gardening hints and tips and purchase some fresh produce via an honesty box.
