No cost to visit here. Exhibits inside were disappointing in that they are fake, no real stuffed bears. Too politically correct for me. Can be visited and walked thru in under 15 minutes. Wish there were more to see.

No bears here except for the large statue outside the building. Center is worth visiting to see the whale skeleton hanging from the ceiling. There are displays to view. Be sure to go upstairs to see the whale skeleton and the story of how it...More

The exhibits are very informative as are the fine rangers on duty. Be sure to spend time looking at the topographical map of the island there.

Ranger was very informative. The exhibits and full body skeleton of a whale was awesome! A must visit when in town.

A must see if you’re in Kodiak. The staff is very knowledgeable of the wildlife history and changes taking place to save this beautiful place for generations to come. Great little bookstore, film and displays.

There is a behemoth grey whale skeleton hanging in here and I would go in just for that alone. It’s free and has a quick video on the nature within Alaska and an exhibit also explaining more about the species inside Alaska. Very cool and...More
