Very nice little nature reserve. Saw several different types of birds. Limited parking and quite muddy in the winter, so come prepared. Will definitely go back.

Although there are no amenities there this is a great place to watch wildlife especially birds. With different types of habitats at the various hides the tick number can be quite high

First visit here and will definitely be returning. Nicely spread out with good quality hides. We saw two cuckoo's and a crane which was a first for us in the UK. Worth a visit!

Came here on a sunny day and got extremely lucky with the wildlife. Saw about 10+ grass snakes basking by the river side, birds of prey including a marsh harrier, frogs, a woodpecker and even saw a weasel scurry along the path ahead of us!...More

Lovely reserve with a fantastically well-used bird feeding station. The reserve paths are a bit muddy after wet weather and really could do with some small drainage ditches cut to take water off the path. There are a couple of seats along the path but...More

A great way to spend a crisp, cold winter twilight! The starlings murmuration happens in the winter months and is best seen on clear evenings. Arrive early (we arrived at 3pm) as the car park gets very busy and wear wellies as it can be...More
