We live about 30 minutes away. This is a fantastic reserve and we have seen Barn Owls, Swifts, Curlew and Badgers. The starling murmurations in Winter are a must see although best to avoid weekends as the car park fills up very quickly.

Great place to visit, to watch the starling flock in there thousands displaying the amazing murmuration a fantastic acrobatic mass before roosting. Plus Lapwings, Turtle Doves and so much more!! ('<>')
Came here on a sunny day and got extremely lucky with the wildlife. Saw about 10+ grass snakes basking by the river side, birds of prey including a marsh harrier, frogs, a woodpecker and even saw a weasel scurry along the path ahead of us!...More
