Beautiful small island. Picture perfect and it is just 10 mins away from the main island via small motorised boat (you will pay less than $20 for a round trip)

Visited this island for about 90 minutes as part of an island hopping day trip. I would spend a whole day here if I return. Other than the caretaker we were the only ones on the island when we were there and I suspect the only ones that day. It felt a bit like being a billionaire on one's own tropical island. Very nice beach with good swimming though it is a bit rocky in the water so some aquatic footwear is good. Beautiful view of the main Biliran Island in the background. We are staying at Agta beach resort directly opposite the island. We paddled a bangka boat out to Dalutan island which only took 45 minutes. The beach is made of coral and shells which is pretty but bring water shoes if necessary. There are small huts to rent during the day for 200peso however you cannot stay on the island overnight. There was some dead coral, a disappointing reef to snorkel but lots of fish. The water was very clear but there a few sea lice in the water. Overall, a nice trip for a couple of hours with no other tourists!…

Dalutan Island is going through some minor development, kubo huts, a nature trail, etc. The island is near to Almeria, Biliran and you can easily access it from one of the resorts. I go through Agta Beach Scuba Resort. Dalutan Island provides excellent views of the mountains and coastline of Biliran Island, but the real treasure here is the reef. Dalutan has a vibrant coral reef and you can go through the previously mentioned dive resort to snorkel or dive at this site.…
