This beach has a clearer water than that of Bonbon. The beach part has a private part and a public one. It's best to to go during late morning since you'll be able to see how clear its water. We paid an entrance fee of 20 pesos per head. There weren't any group of people besides mine and to think that it was almost summer when we visited Although the stretch of the beach consists parts of fine sands and roughs, this is by far the best beach to go to in Romblon.
> Accesible via boat or by land; tricycle/private car from the Romblon town proper
> Veryyyy clear water
> Some rock formations just a few steps from the shore!!
>Cheap
>No crowd and very quiet
> Perfect for those who want to relax
>And for those booklovers hitting the beach!

First beach we visited during our stay in Romblon. This one's family friendly but you have to call in advance if you want to have your lunch here as part of your tour.

My job used to be assessing beach safety and advising the public. I am not joking, I regard this beach as the best kiddies bathing beach I have ever seen (in over 30 countries). It is uncrowded, and has a wonderful vista of Tablas on the horizon. Beautiful clean sand good for sandcastles, seating areas under mature trees give needed shade, smooth water, no rips, water temperature 27 degrees, good underwater visibility, No Lifeguards, no unusual dips in the sand and shallow gradient into bathing depth. Interesting shells to be seen, but snorkelling not so interesting as other areas. The only downside is stepping on black sea urchins at low water. Soak in old Coca Cola after removal of spines! Also it is no good for surfing as it is nearly always sheltered. A private beach please pay 30 pesos per person, it is well worth it and keeps the beach tidy and less crowded. Go and see this beach, you will not be disappointed.

White sand, no sea urchins unlike a number of Romblon's waters. Simple facilities, minimal entry fee... A small charge for this corner of paradise and turquoise waters. On the west coast of Romblon island, a 15 minute motorbike ride from downtown Romblon. Access down a few steps.

This is a fantastic white sand beach that offers crystal clear blue water--especially at high tide. Check the tides first before going and make sure you are there during high tide otherwise it kind of dampens your first impression...and by dampen I mean you'll say,"Wow." instead of,"WOW!!!".
The only draw back is the lack of real facilities but, as I write this, there are some basic (No en suite bathrooms) rooms being built to accommodate the surge in tourists and the owners are upgrading where they can. But that's just nit picking because this is a gorgeous beach.

This attractive white sand beach is four kilometres from Romblon with a path leading down to it about 350 metres on from the exit to Anchor Bay Watersports Resort and its popular Marlin Bar.
The beach lacks corals and has a lot of seagrass but parts are good for swimming. Waters are calm making it ideal for babies and toddlers.
The beach was clean but there are no public toilets while for shade one has to go back to the coconut tree area.
The end closer to Romblon town has some nice rock formations plus a few mangroves.
There is apparently a 40 peso entrance fee but this is payable at the official entrance a few hundred metres further away from the town. Coming from Australia where the vast majority of beaches are publicly owned the concept of paying to enter a beach does not find favour with me.

I had several occasions to visit the capital town of Romblon but no chance to tour around especially its beaches. Last May 2014, I had this opportunity to be part of the team to bring Miss Earth 2014 winners in Romblon and Tiamban Beach was first stop. The place is ideal for team building with clean and fine sandy shore. However, alot of sea urchins (tayum-tayum) in the deeper part of the beach especially near the coral reef/rocky section. We did not stay but the resort have cottages for overnight stay. The beach is very accessible - just a few minutes from the town proper or from port.
