The Balabac Tour by the Wanderwalkers was well organized! I got a hold of them through Facebook and booked a private tour for my family. I had absolutely no problem communicating with the company, they were very helpful and friendly. Yes, we did have to separately book and pay for our flights to get to Puerto Princesa and accommodation for one night. We stayed at Hostel Privado, which is a budget friendly option, but the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. It is also located on a strip full of restaurants and convenience stores, which is great if you needed to pick up last minute things before the trip. The van picked us up early at 4am in the morning the next day, and everything after that was provided for and coordinated by the tour company (i.e. meals, transportation, accommodations). The tour was not a luxurious experience, it's really more like camping on an island. But trust me, the experience is worth it! I also strongly recommend upgrading to a teepee hut if you can. The people at the basecamp were great! We definitely enjoyed the food! Our tour guide and boat crew were amazing companions throughout our entire trip. They really went above and beyond to ensure that our island hopping experience was to the fullest! You can also purchase wifi at the camp if you really needed it, but the reception is only strong by the dining hall. But I recommend staying offline to really enjoy the island life. And, of course, the views, the islands, the ocean, the white sand were unlike any other! This tour is truly one of those hidden gems that you must see at least once before the place gets even more developed and overcrowded with tourists. Be warned though, the boat rides are long (average 1 to 2 hours) and the motors are loud. So I recommend bringing earphones or earplugs for the trip. The boat seats aren't very comfortable, so your butt will get sore after sitting a long time, but they had extra life jackets that you could sit on, which helped a bit. Lastly, bring bug spray (You can also purchase some at the basecamp)!! There are sand mites at the basecamp. While they're completely harmless, the afterbites are incredibly itchy. I got bitten quite a bit, but I think it depends on each person because my dad was barely bit. Anyways, we hope to come back someday!

Our expedition to Balabac with Wanderwalkers was totally beyond our expectations. Everything - from booking to the whole expedition - was perfectly organized and we always had all the information we needed. After booking the trip, wandewalkers sent us a PDF guide with all the tips on what to take to the island, what to expect during the trip and what to avoid. Pick up from Puerto Princesa was no problem, as was transportation to the port. Our tour guide Jeremy was waiting for us there and he and the crew spent all 4 days with us. Jeremy spoke absolutely perfect English and always kept us informed of what was going to happen and was always helpful.
As for the campsite - we upgraded to TP which had a mattress, mosquito net and a fan. It was absolutely enough to live authentically on the island. The campsite is very nice, electricity is available 6-10pm, then solar panel electricity works. For the right experience, this is absolutely sufficient. There were 10 of us in our group and it was nice to sit in the campground and play cards in the evenings - so I recommend packing some games with you. As for the food - we were very pleasantly surprised, there was always plenty of food and it was very tasty. There was always a choice of fish or seafood, meat and vegetables so there was something for everyone. Fresh water was available 24/7.
There was plenty of room for snorkeling, chilling on the beach or taking photos during the trips to the different islands and locations as well. Jeremy even had a drone, so we took some beautiful shots from the trip as well.
We would recommend the this tour to anyone who does not mind direct contact with nature and who wants to enjoy peace and quiet. We were lucky with our joiner group and met some great new people. Thank you, Wanderwalkers!!

Spent 4D3N in Punta Sebaring, Balabac. Met amazing and coolest people (our group, boat crew, kitchen crew, locals and our guide - Sir Jeremy).
We got lucky, we got the island for a night.
We also experienced sunny, rainy, splashy Balabac😂 and enjoyed it. Our captain was just sitting chill and brought us to each island and back home safe. (Thank you, Captain!)
If you guys want to experience a real island life, disconnect for a while and reconnect with nature, I highly recommend them. You’ll have a slow morning, waiting for the sun to rise, appreciate the beauty of the island.
Actually they exceeded my expectation. Will definitely be back!👍🏼

We spent 3 nights and 4 unforgettable days in Balabac! Jeremy was an excellent guide, he took us to the most beautiful places and we were always the only group to explore the islands, or arrive first (e.g. on Onok island ).
On the second day, the boat had a small battery problem leaving the camp to go towards Onok and the team was very responsive. Once the battery was changed, as we were behind schedule, the team decided to reverse the steps so we could enjoy Onok to the fullest the next day.
The camp offers simple comfort but the atmosphere is great. We eat well, the staff is smiling, the dogs are adorable, the sunrises are sublime.
Thanks to Jeremy for his professionalism and drone videos! We look forward to them;)!
We really recommend this agency.

I just returned from this 4 day 3 night tour. Was very beautiful trip seeing the different islands, especially on day 2. Jeremy was an excellent tour guide. He was able to communicate everything in English which was very helpful. He also was able to answer all my questions about the different islands and various other things about balabac.
This was my second attempt after my first trip was cancelled in January because of coast guards travel advisory. They gave me a year to rebook for another trip with no extra charge. It was raining the first day, but we were still able to go. Day 2 and 3 had perfect weather so the trip was worth it.
They provided 3 meals plus a snack each day. Options were for each meal had meat (beef/chicken/or pork), seafood (crabs or fish) , and vegetables dish. I personally didn’t really enjoy the food because I don’t eat seafood. They do have snacks on the island day trips but I would recommend also bringing extra. They also sell beer and other alcoholic beverages, as well as coke at the campsite.
Recommend also bringing bug repellent for the mosquitoes and sand flies at the campsite.
Overall this was 5 star trip. I had fun and Jeremy did a great job. I will probably go again in the future.

We loved the tour to Balabac from WanderWalkers. Firstly the place is breathtaking, pristine beaches without crowds, I doubt there are many more places like this. Secondly the organization from WanderWalkers was perfect, everything was very professionally organized, on time, we felt safe a didn’t have to take care about anything. Another thing was food which was as well really nice, cooked by local ladies in the camp. Overall it was an experience we will remember for a long time.

This trip by The Wander Walkers was very organized and well coordinated! The tour guide and the boat crew were very accommodating throughout the duration of our island hopping activity. We were well taken care for our meals. They have generous meal servings that are included in the package. We enjoyed all of our time during our trip.
I would also have to add that I found friends joining this tour. This was one of the best joiner tours I ever joined. On day one, everyone vibe with one another like we’ve known each other for years. I’am the only Fillipino but the international friends made me feel like I belong to the group! No awkwardness. We had a lot of fun. We really enjoyed our time!
Coming from a busy city life, we had the best real island life experience. We were refreshed and recharged.
The place is just beautiful like in a movie. The place is one of those that you will have to comeback over and over again.
I will book my Balabac tour with The Wander Walkers again.

We stayed 4 days (3 nights) on the road and loved it! You already know when booking that you have to leave luxury and knickknacks behind. But that's exactly what makes this tour special. We had great people in the team and had a great time! Camp Punta Sebaring is located on a beautiful and quiet beach from which you can admire the sunrise. Unfortunately, we were very unlucky with the weather except in one day. The attached pictures are therefore almost all from Onok Island, as we were there on the last day in sunshine. Our team leader was also very cool. The food was always fresh and prepared with love. We would recommend this tour to anyone!

I am so fortunate to have stumbled across WanderWalkers! I booked with them pre-Covid and had to cancel. I was pleasantly surprised that they refunded me. So I made a pact with myself that I would definitely rebook with them, and I finally did for my birthday.
The tour guide Jeremy, boat crew and staff were all friendly and accommodating. They all made sure everyone was having a good time. Food was epic! The crabs, shrimps, fish and calamari! I had to ask Ate Tess for the recipes!
My hut was more than what I expected. Can fit 2 to 3. It had a white and lacy mosquito net, and a ceiling fan - made me feel like an island princess. 😊
And Balabac did not disappoint. I have never seen water that clear, the colors range from aquamarine to turquoise to deep blue. And the sand was so fine!
I will try my best to go back... and next time, with friends and family.

The best experience in Balabac
4 days 3 nights spent with the best team and new friends
Balabac is a piece of heaven in the Philippines. Everything was fantastic, from the bus transfer to the activities, to the beaches and the food.
Jeremy and the team were the best, they were our guides, chefs and photographers. The best crew!
We had a group of 11 which was a great size, we stayed in the hut which I highly recommend. The food was incredible as well, 3 meals a day were provided (Filipino Power!!) and there is even a bar where snacks are available.
Some highlights were swimming with sea turtles, starfish, the most beautiful beaches, sand bars and coral reefs
Thank you Jeremy and everyone on site at camp for making the trip so memorable for us

Hi! I booked my Balabac trip during the Halloween break last year and at the time, there were other guides aside from Ardee. I'm not sure if he is still associated with the Wanderwalkers; I think it would be best to ask them and / or request for Ardee to be your tour guide again.

Hello. Book a prearranged tour and it will pick you up from Puerto Princesa. Commuting is not recommended since no fixed passenger van travels all yhe way to the southernmost port.

The WanderWalkers organized our Balabac trip this January 2019 for 5 days and 4 nights. We stayed at Punta Sebaring beach on the duration of our trip and it became our home away from home. The family that took care of us cooks the best and they are very accommodating. They were warm and friendly. They even took us to the baranggay's fiesta to party! It was a very memorable experience.
Balabac is not just about it's scenic beaches, beautiful sunsets and endless night sky but also its people. Will definitely go back and visit to unwind and relax.
