First of all, this is a public place when we arrive there we don’t mind the entrance fee (which is understandable) We rent a table and chairs which cost us 500php. When the night comes we decided to bring out tents, but to our surprise it’s not allowed daw… like what!? It’s a public place… lots of talk from the ppl who guard the place and we ended up renting a room which cost 4k pho (air conditioned but the inside sucks). What a disappointment Alcoy.

My friends and I went there to visit the place but we were all disappointed because the place was really dirty. Above all, the service crews were so rude and didn't have the enthusiasm to provide some information in regard to the fess that will be charged to us. We paid for the entrance fee although we had our entrance in a very risky alley. We also paid for the table, although we informed them that we brought tent with us, but they said we could only use it in the evening, So we assumed that we would never pay for the tent beacuse we availed for the table already. Sadly, they came and approached us to disassemble the tent because we never paid for it. Imagine 300. It sucked! Things were all very expensive. They took advantage to all customers.

To the management. Please do monitor your staffs. They are not doing their tasks properly. I will never ever go to that place again.

I stayed overnight at Cartagena Beachwalk Resort. Walked south from the resort along the shoreline to the beach area next to the highway. I did not find the beach or the water all that appealing. Nobody stopped me asking for entry fee but I assume that was because I did not access the shoreline through other private property.
I booked Cartagena via their facebook page. They don't have a restaurant but Voda Krasna Resort, a short walk down the highway does have a restaurant which I can recommend.

There aren’t that many white sand beaches at this part of Cebu so finding this one was a great delight and only 10 minutes motorcycle from the hotel

Not too many tourists or hawkers so a nice place to chill

Tingko is great from when you're craving a quick dip. I recommend staying at Cartahena than the over priced tables, chairs and cottages there.

There’s almost no foreigners, only local people usually enjoy he beach. It’s because the beach is far from Cebu city (takes 2-3 hours) but if you visit, won’t regret about it. First of all, it’s safe and clean. The security guard always helped me to arrange as I was alone. The entrance is 100 peso. You can find a few cafe and even karaoke in the beach!

Really!!, this beach is just not worth the effort. It’s perched on the edge of some half baked construction site.

The beach itself is not that clean, there are lots of dilapidated old awnings with a roof and some plastic chairs you can rent for an inflated price.

The water is warm and if you avoid the rubbish that is floating around, swimming out to the white markers with a snorkel, gives you a spectacular view of the drop off that is just on the other side.

Ultimately, if you want beautiful beaches, this isn’t one.

This beach is far over-rated as there are much better ones around. The sand is not firm to walk on and there is a drop into the sea which could be a problem for older people or young children. During holidays it gets crowded and there is no life guard unlike Mahay Mahay beach a short bus ride away, which incidently has good firm sand. They have started to charge now which is bonkers as beaches are public. Very steep steps need to be negociated (wrong spell) to get on the beach. If you take the steps on the right, the beach is much better but a lot smaller..

I have visited this beach 10 years ago...it has been a small, beautiful, natural beach next to a small cliff. It's a beach with shifting sand, according to the monsun. Now it has lost his beauty. There is rubbish (plastic waste in every variation, cigarette ends, empty plastic bottles) everywhere and they build some really uggly cottages made of concrete and bamboo...the smell of urin is everywhere- because there are open (!) toiletts and urinals (look right if you go downstairs)...the tubes are lying open cris cross- everything is really disgusting. They charge 20 php if you want to use the stairs down to the beach or some plastic chairs around the so called restaurant...no place you have to write on your to do list...

Great place for swimming especially with a toddler. Not crowded on weekdays. You can bring a tent if you want cuz they have space provided for it. You just have to pay for the entrance and the place to put up your tent. They also have cottages for rent per day with karaoke.
