We visit whenever we're here. The volunteers are friendly & very knowledgeable & every penny goes to continue the restoration of this interesting ship. The land alongside where she is moored is being developed, so maybe this might hasten her move to a permanent dock!...More

If you are in port adelaide you can't miss this. It is a rescued icon. The last remaining one of its kind being renovated by volunteers,the work is costly so very penny of the entrance fee is worth it. The guide was extremely knowledgeable. Tours...More

One hour guided tour of City of Adelaide ship was very interesting, going onto passenger deck of ship and hearing all the history. The ship is still in early stages of being restored, so does not look particularly attractive, but that does not detract from...More

a must do for visitors to Port Adelaide. There is alot of restoration to go, but one day it will be up there with Brunels ship Great Britain in Bristol UK. Also visit the nearby Maritime Museum!!

The look from a distance is not encouraging but the tour and the history are excellent. I took my grandson and we both had a marvellous history lesson. The concept and construction of the boat was explained in detail and the conditions of the travellers...More

You need to take the tour to see whats happening to this historic ship. Due to lack of a home,the only restoration that can be done is to the inner decks of the ship,and it is well worth the visit.

Tremendous historical value over 100 years old and in the midst of renovation, it's the only survivor to have come from Great Britain with the early settlers well worth the visit
