First thing I'll say is that Kawasan Falls is beautiful and worth the trip. However, I strongly advise anyone against choosing this company to get you through it.

My friend (female) and I (male) both paid for a tour with them. Getting there required taking a tricycle who then dropped us off with a man who would motorbike us the rest of the way and then spend the rest of the day pretending to be a tour guide alongside our actual tour guide (he was permitted to pay around 250php to come along for whatever reason, and we were not aware initially). During this time, our fake tour guide would pretend to be the lead guide while the actual tour guide assigned to us would play along because I guess he is a pretty chill guy and enjoys taking the photos of the participants. Throughout the entirety of the trek, the fake guide kept grabbing my friend by the hand, forcing flirtatious conversation and insisting that she give him a chance. I followed behind with little direction because they didn't bother to speak to me in English while my friend could speak the local language.

There was even a moment where the fake guide instructed me to jump off a rock leading into a pool, however, the spot he pointed me to had another rock underneath the surface that I landed on. The actual guide wasn't bad but the fact that he allowed someone not qualified to lead a tour that was paid for in advance was extremely unprofessional and could have resulted in serious harm, not including the sexual advances the fake guide continued to make throughout the day.

Fake guide kept asking for more money and when he realized he wasn't going to get more than what we already agreed to pay for the day, he left us when he was supposed to drive us back to town. I eventually spoke to the manager/boss and rather than take accountability for the people under his watch, he handed me a phone so I could confront the fake guide myself.

Fake guide wanted to return to explain to me that he is a guide in training, while the boss was telling me that because of this incident he will no longer allow him to work at that establishment. There was no apology, in fact, the boss asked if I'd like to get the fake guide to come back so we could fight it out physically.

There's more that happened with them but it's not worth explaining and I think you get the picture that this business doesn't take itself seriously. I can't speak for others but I would caution against JoePro.

An amazing day, very helpful guides. Fantastic jumps into water and views that will blow you away. Highly recommend this company. They helped out with transfers after we finished and the food was great for lunch.

Booked last minute through word of mouth from our tricycle driver. Very good adventure through the Kawasan falls, we had young RAY RAY as our guide who worked very had to ensure we did not have any incidents along the journey and enjoyed every minute of it.

He was an amazing guide who gave us an insight to the Phillo life and history of the falls, Ray carried our dry bag the entire time and took several photos along the way which enabled us to have free hands to traverse the rocks and jump into the water falls the completely embrace our surroundings.

I was more than happy to award Ray with a decent tip at the completion of the trek which end with us getting back to the Joe pro office for a traditional Philo lunch which consisted of spring rolls, fried chicken, rice and noodles finished with a local banana.

We started our trip with the optional superman zip line for a small fee of 600p it was well and truely worth it not just for the view and thrill but it cut a large portion of walking out of the trip which was already relatively long.

Beautiful part of this country and highly recommend to do this activity. Try go on a weekday and weekends are busy and bring a large crowd.

Greatest experience in Moalboal. We loved it. We highly recommend this company and specially with Mr. James (tour guide). He was so nice. Mr. James is so reliable and takes safety as a priority.

A big plus is the food after the tour... delicious

Our experience is phenomenal! The owners are very nice and accommodating, the guides are expert and hilarious. The experience is scary but our guides know how to take this fear away. I really recommend this guides here! BUT get ready on the loooooong walk and high jumps.

We had great fun with Joepro at the waterfalls! We were lucky to find Nielmar de La Torre (can find him in facebook) in Moalboal and he Took us on an amazing Adventure!

Knew special ways, we did not wait in a single line, enjoyed some good part of the way alone which was beautiful! Finally we ended up in a Nice complementary lunch.

Me and my sister booked onto this experience as recommended by our hotel in Moalboal. We got picked up by Nielmar in his Tuk Tuk from our hotel at 07:30 and got to the JoePro reception at about 08:00. We got fitted with equipment and headed to the zip wire on the back of a motorbike which was an experience in itself! We opted to take the zip wire instead of a 45 minute walk and although it was slightly more money it was so worth it. We felt that we had already had our adrenaline rush for the day! It was then a short walk down to where we began the canyoneering. Neilmar was extremely attentive and professional at all times - he was also our personal photographer for the day and took loads of great photos and videos. Going through the waterfalls was tiring but so so worth it. There are small places to stop for a drink/food if you would like. After the experience we headed back to the reception for some food which was delicious. We then hopped back on the Tuk Tuk and was back at the hotel by 14:00.
Altogether was an amazing and memorable experience, made more special by Neilmar who we could not fault in the slightest.

I recently went with JoePro Adventures for a day trip canyoneering and it was brilliant! The team were lovely and funny and ensured you made the best out of your day! There are ways to do this without doing any type of jumps but I would say if you’re not confident in swimming or doing the small jumps then it’s not worth your time. It’s understandable missing out the big jumps but you MUST give the small ones a go!! Great family/friend/solo day out!

We have booked this canyoneering through a shop beside the french cafe in panagsama beach. It is the cheapest we’ve seen hence we booked it but you really get what you pay for. The Kawasan canyoneering itself was great and was the highlight of our cebu trip but I wouldn’t recommend to go to this company.

The staff and guides were very unprofessional. Instead of getting picked up from our hotel which most canyoneering company does, we were asked to show up at panagsama beach. A couple of people got picked up from their accommodation as they were a wee way out. We hopped in a small jeepney like transport with our guides there who NEVER introduced themselves or welcomed anyone or even said hello, good morning. Nothing. We got to their “office” near the falls and the lady at the desk didn’t even welcome us or said hello or even smiled. She looked like she doesn’t like what she’s doing. As we got there one of the guides was trying to get our group to sign in for the zip line which is another P500 and was very stroppy saying we dont have a choice as it was raining and its muddy! But most of us didn’t bring cash as we know we’re gonna get wet. He didn’t look happy and was rude saying “you have to bring money when you come over etc etc”. We were meant to be fitted with our gears and shoes but they have limited sizes and the lady didnt even assist the group and said your guides will get your shoes very rudely. No instructions were given so we just tried the shoes on whichever fits us. Mostly were small sizes so the guys ended up using a tight fit shoes and one guy who cant fit with any size theyve got ended up using his own trainers which was probably lucky as the shoes they provided has very thin soles and very worn from use so they didn’t grip and made the walk very slippery. The shoes definitely need changing but they still use it. The next thing were helmets which were also limited and faulty! The adjustment clips doesn’t work, the straps and locks doesn’t secure properly so it comes off easily. Again, they use it until they can get away with it. The life vests were not the best like other groups but it served its purpose. Few minutes after we started the walk two of our guides sat on a small eatery along the way and stopped for their breakfast!! Seriously!! And told our group to just keep walking and follow the other guide! During the walk, the guides were all at the front chatting to each other in their dialect, not interacting with the group, they wouldn’t even know if all of us are okay as it’s super slippery. One of us could’ve had an accident and they wouldn’t know as they just expected us to follow them. They dont know our names as no one bothered to ask and the only way they can recognise us is by the colour of our helmets. Traversing through the canyons, the guides split up and two of them were usually behind us to guide us with jumps. We felt rushed and that is also due to lots of groups behind us but the guides never asked any of us if we are okay or do we need to stop or slow down or take pictures. At least the other groups guides i can see them taking their pictures. There were lots of opportunities to just enjoy the view or have a dip on one of the falls but no, we had to walk fast to catch up with our guides and our faces looking down so we can see where we’re stepping on. At the very end there was a chance for us to swim and enjoy but the guides said the lunch was waiting at the office. We got to the office and still had to wait for our food. We could’ve at least enjoyed the falls. But the guides were obviously not interested as they do it everyday, but for us who will probably do it only once in our lives and has paid substantial amount of money we want to enjoy the experience of course. One of the guides was also trying to hit on one of the girls in our group saying she was pretty, and if she’s got a boyfriend and that she should try Filipino guys etc. i felt sorry for the girl as it was very unprofessional and she was being polite but im sure she was uncomfortable. The guide even introduced her to the guys back at the office as his wife! It was meant to be a joke but you don’t treat your guests like that. There was also a tarzan swing near the end which you have to pay 10 pesos if you want to do it but none of us had money and the guide was blaming us and kept on saying that its our problem that we dont have money. But no one gave us any instructions from the beginning!!!!! Do they expect us to just know?? We havent been here!!! At the end of the canyoneering, instead of picking us up like what i saw other companies did, we were again asked to follow and walked back to their office which was around a kilometre walk on the road. They could’ve easily picked us up from the end point and back to their office but we were made to walk on the road. The food was below average, crumbed pork which is almost inedible and my chicken bbq wasn’t cooked properly and still a bit raw inside!! 🤢 for the amount you paid, you get one small cola drink and they ask for payment for a second one. How much does it cost really for a small cola? 10 pesos maybe but they want every cents off the guests.

The falls and the place itself was nice. Would love to do it again but NOT with jerwinadventure. Another company who is just after the money but NO SERVICE at all!!

Amazing experience enhanced by great guide (Noel) and great communication when booking in advance. We booked in advance and had heaps of questions but Joepro was so good at giving us all the information needed. Our guide Noel was so awesome, genuine, patient funny and super helpful (which is very important as some parts can be quiet dangerous). Overall if you want to do canyoneering in Kawasan, Joepro is the company to book with. Lunch after was also great especially as not many restaurants around.
