I recently had the pleasure to play Powerscourt Golf course (west course) and it really was superb. Apart from the scenery the course was excellent. The greens were really tricky and it was a real challenge to try and master them. All staff we met...More

Really enjoyed our "golf day" at the course. Walked over from Powerscourt hotel and found the west course gorgeous, available, and quiet. Good food and drink afterward in the upstairs clubhouse bistro. Beautiful views and well-kept course. Nice and helpful staff!

For what you would pay for a buggy, ask for a caddy instead and walk. What could be better than a 3 hour walk in the fabulous Irish countryside, hearing great stories from your caddy, enjoying the fresh air and feeling the course. I played...More

We had lunch in the restaurant on the upper level of the clubhouse. Pints, food, service and the views were wonderful. Reasonable and just plain nice to be there.
