This is the first time Howth Castle has been open to the public. It is a private home and the tour includes the reception rooms only, plus the kitchen. The family still live here, so the tour is intimate and feels like a private visit....More

Highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking of visiting Howth! Felt really welcomed and inspired by Shane and his best buddy, Bruno! Shane was really good in individualizing the hiking trip to suit our capabilities! Felt really comfortable and enjoyed myself very much!

I took part in one of Shane’s Hikes last Monday. It was a great experience and his knowledge of the area and passion for the subject was obvious. Really recommend it but you need to have good walking shoes , particularly hiking ones if possible....More
