Went with group from my golf trip for a few pre dinner drinks. Very old school - don’t ask for a Black and Tan here! They had wifi, but was down when we visited and the bartender said that a pub is no place for...More

Hadnt been here in about 20 years I reckon so was anxious that the place hadnt changed (been tarted up, gentrified, gastro'd) - I relaxed as soon as I passed 2 locals huddled in the doorway smoking while avoiding the snow! Place hasnt changed a...More

A true traditional pub. Time has stood still here. Visited during the day and were amazed at the worn tiles on the floor, small snugs and leaning bar. We returned in the evening and enjoyed a quiet pint in candle light with the locals. During...More

We stopped in here on a very, very wet weekend when our original plans had to change and I'll definitely be making a planned return. The pub was warm and cosy and if we hadn't had a restaurant booking would have happily stayed there all...More

Happened upon this pub and enjoyed our first pint of the day. Room to sit outside and enjoy a sunny, warm afternoon in Kinsale. Good times!

This is a traditional pub with small bar area with snugs and turf fire. You will not find any TV or food here. It is centuries old and has a great cozy feel. Great pints and relaxing with local people.
