If you're traveling on N61, you should definitely stop to visit this sculpture. Although I would have preferred a less-abstract work honoring Red Hugh O'Donnell, there is something very appealing about this. Viewed from different angles, it offers a chance to appreciate the beauty of...More

I love driving the N61 when in Ireland and coming across this sculpture. It stands majestically on a hill and looks great.

Look up from the road on the road out from Boyle to see this magnificent sculpture. It is huge with the limitless sky behind it, it was impressive.

We were driving along N4 and saw this striking sculpture in the distance. It is a Celtic Chieftain from the local Battles. We stopped in the Car Park and got a closer look and also a view of Lough Key.
