We were advised by a couple of walkers whilst in the Peak district for this "must see" place....it was a couple of miles from Riber in Matlock where we were staying. Entrance was £5 pp...no concessions for elderly/disabled. Having paid and walked through the archway...More

Four of us went for lunch. Coffee teas and chocolate very good. My jacket potatoes with bacon and blue cheese hit the spot. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Will go again.

Not really. Can view from cafe terrace but not really within garden due to slope

I have seen many people with dogs there, so I would say the answer is yes.
