If you like Geogian Architecture this the place for you lots of fantastic buildings and nearby is The Wilfred Owen Museum is close by. You are probably not going to believe this I have'nt found or reviewed any cafes in Birkenhead.

Eleagant square with interesting buildings and beautifully maintained gardens. Very peaceful spot in an otherwise busy place.

Hamilton Square was completed in 1844 and is now a Conservation Area, containing Grade 1 Listed Buildings. It's the largest Georgian / Victorian Square outside London. My walk around the square and through the gardens was midweek during the afternoon, the best time to visit!...More

Hamilton square is a lovely peaceful place to stroll around or sit and relax. Gorgeous Georgian architecture, fabulous town hall. One of Birkenheads hidden gems.
