Yesterday's sun made this a glorious place to visit. Almost unspoiled wild landscape basking in the Spring sunshine which gave way to a rainy grey day which seemed to excite more giving the lake a forbidding look yet magnificent in its solitude.

Nice walk around this although the flies can get a bit much during the summer months. Worth stopping at if you are doing a tour of the Sperrin Mountains.

Circular walk around Loughran Fea takes around 30-40 minutes. Good pathway, suitable for children, easy walk. Lovely early morning or late evening. About 10mins drive from Cookstown, parking on site.

Have walked round the Lough Fea pathway on many occasions. There is a great path the whole way round which is approx a 4km walk. Good car parking facilities and a small play park and toilet facility available.
