This beach is walkable from the Kapalua villas or Ritz Carlton at Kapalua. This beach had some life guards the day we went. However there were warnings about shore break that day. We had a great day boogie boarding and riding the waves. We ate...More

The other reviews are correct the surf is a bit ruff but a fantastic spot if you are physically able to play in it. It's a gorgeous beach for a bbq and swimming. Lots of parking options as well.

Once you peel off the shallow waters the swimming is sublime. Secluded and fit for families with a great sunset.

We got married here, so this will always be a special place for me. I wouldn't recommend swimming here as the surf was rough and it seems that waves even moved back out away from the shore at times. There are BBQ grills, a lifeguard...More

Some great shore break action with a sand bottom. Lifeguards are on duty and Surf can really get big! This was my family’s favorite place to go during the days! My kids will always talk about this spot!

We parked to go to the ritz beach, but kept walking and found this gem. The surfers were having a blast here and so did we watching them. Lots of trees to find shade up off the beach and we found plenty of room to...More

Waves are great for body surfing, bogie boards, etc. Watch the kids as currents can be strong. Good sunlight most of the day for tanning.

The place is great for picnics - they have a green side before the beach. The beach is great too. You can see some turtles around. Big waves, normally.

Nice sandy beach that usually has waves, though often choppy. It has a good parking lot and bathroom and shower facilities. Lifeguards are on duty during most busy times. It has ancredible views of the rock outcroppings on either side as well as Molokai straight...More

Yes. There is an activity kiosk at the south end of the beach right behind the tree line. I think that it is hosted by the Ritz, but probably open to all (for purchase or rental). Go towards the south end of DT Fleming and... More
