A lovely thing to do on a sunny sunday. The museum takes you back to the days of trams in Wellington and all their history. Then you can take a ride on a restored tram to the beach. Great for little kids and adults alike.

This is a great place to bring the family or visitors. Take a ride on an old style tram to the beach and back - it's great. The Tramway is run by volunteers and hobbyists and there's always trams running during weekends.

A fun activity for children of all ages. Riding in a tram that retired from the Wellington network in 1960, this is a special experience. It's a short tram ride leaving from MacKay's Crossing and taking you to Whareroa Beach. Alternatively, you can return immediately...More
