I love Oaklawn. If you are comparing this to the Big City Zoos you will be disappointed but for a small province this is a great place.

We've been in a lot of animal parks, but were immediately taken with the organization & cleanliness of Oaklawn. Beautiful , well-kept, happy animals. Quite a variety for a smaller park. Would suggest being there between 4 pm - dusk which is feeding time.

Spent a couple of hours here recently on a cool weekend afternoon. It was very busy with many families with young children visiting the animals. I was very impressed with the variety of animals at the zoo - from monkeys, zebras, camels, llamas, lions, tigers...More

Our whole family enjoyed spending time here. It was lovely, the animals look well cared for and happy. The whole area was clean and well maintained. Our favourite was the bear and camels!!

Visited Ron and Gail at Oaklawn to catch up on news about family and the critters. So many visitors and so many cool animals, especially the cats, zonkeys, monkeys and horses. This is a wonderful facility that offers educational tours and family visits.
