This is a nicely crafted temple .. Not much tourists here ... But the location is also good .. nice drive to the place .. had fun

We had never heard of this Hoysala age temple near Nagamangala but just happened to stumble across en route to other attractions around Mandya. Boy, were we impressed! Well preserved (thankfully not much crowd), beautiful architecture and magnificent location!

Its a superb temple, located nicely and remotely in Basaluru, a small village. At our visit, we are only two visiting the temple and it is nicely maintained. A small temple but it had more to offer. The Architectural awesome.

This was very peaceful place with lots of positive energy. The crowd was not very much over here. I did meditation over here. My friends really loved this place.

This shiva temple belongs to the hoysala period & has the typical hoysala architecture comprising of the elevated basement full of carvings & an intricately carved gopura. It also features sculpture of elephants & lions which is common place in hoysala architecture

Hi, You have to take the Nagamangala - Mandya Road. Yes the temple is Mallikarjuna Temple, Basaralu. In google maps add destination as : to Shri Mallikarjuna Temple of Hoysala Dynasty, Basaralu, Karnataka... More
