One of the best playgrounds in Melbourne. Best accessed from parking area on Ramsden St at sporting oval. Nearby is great scenic spot for CBD views

The Quarries reserve is quite large. It has an impressive adventure playground, a skate park and some bushland, leading to the Merri Creek Trail. There are toilets nearby (in Ramsden reserve), and BBQs, too.

The Quarries park is a favourite place to walk a friends dog. The Merri Creek meanders at the bottom of the park down to its meeting place with the Yarra river. There are aboriginal heritage areas further down, they are well marked. With a selection...More

From memory, there was nothing close to here. You would have to walk towards the railway station to find anything. I reviewed something up that way.
