Religious and Cultural treasure in abundance
A splendid church hosting Bellini's Madonna and Child masterpiece.Sadly, the arm of the John the Baptist sculpture has been stolen and during our visit it was covered. Why cover a damaged masterpiece? It was a cultural 'vandalism attack' and I hope they will uncover the work and celebrate the artist and not the vandal !!…
