Seaside town on the Silver coast about 1hour from Lisbon. Everything in the town is in walking distance. Lots of bars and restaurants. Beautiful beach with long stretches of sand and lifeguards during the summer. Plenty of canvas beach huts and chairs available for rent....More

There are two great bars besides the beach with waves crashing onto the shores. Prices for drinks are reasonable. Lively both during the day time as well as during the evenings

We stayed here in a VRBO.com house and we’re very pleased. This is a vacation village with limited restaurants, but reasonable prices for rental and food. We were within driving distance of Lisbon, Sinatra, Cascais, Obidos, etc. Reasonable prices, quiet, gorgeous beach, friendly folks. Perfect...More

We first visited Areia Branca ten years ago and immediately felt at home! And it kept surprising us all along! Few places on earth are able to combine such often opposing attributes. It's relaxed, but vibrant, wild but well cared for, genuine and tourist-friendly!
